WRB
I met Wendy when I was 14. She was 15, and we became fast friends over music. We loved the same stuff, especially rock and roll, so we started a band. I was fortunate to have played with her on our first recording in my parents garage in late 1979. I played with her on our last recording in late 2022. I'm sure a lot of you have heard some of the many recordings we made in the 43 years in between, but there's only a few who have heard the two sessions that I'm posting here. I hope you enjoy what you hear. I miss her every minute of every day.

Castlewood
This is the first band recording I ever did. It was on a forgotten brand cassette recorder, but it did have 2 mic inputs.
And I had 2 mics.
Wendy was the drummer, but she played almost no drums. She had to sing and play guitar solos (I hadn't a clue), and everything was live. The first song is our first original. Teens with stars in our eyes.

Cheap Date13
and Pinky's Zoo
This is the last recording I did with Wendy and Cheap Date 13. There are no drums. Wen was using a wheelchair at this point, and there were some difficult moments, but in the end it was fun and restorative. And heartbreaking. Rachel and Jennie stepped in with their amazing vocals, and I forced all 4 of them to sing backup on a couple of songs that I did with Benny Rietveld and his son, Makani (Pinky's Zoo). I hope you enjoy the spirit of these songs.
